PERFECTLY FIT

Perfectly Fit was founded in 2007 by Mark Franatovich and Melissa Bernier. Perfectly Fit was started in a 1000 sq ft location on University Ave. as Hammond’s first specialty “Run Store.” At the time, we owned a health screening and wellness company. We were really just looking for a small retail space that would double as a base for our health screening business, which was our main focus. The retail side grew quickly as we gained a reputation for helping people find shoes that actually worked. In 2009, exactly 2 years after we opened our store, we moved across town just outside the mall. 

Both Mark and Melissa reside in in Hammond. They are focused not only on shoes, but helping promote healthy lifestyles by promoting local area runs. You can find Mark directing many of the local runs in the Hammond/Ponchatoula area.  

Since our opening in 2007, we’ve grown to be the resource for not only footwear, but for the running and fitness community. “There was a need in Hammond for not only footwear, but information.” We think of ourselves as an information outlet as much as a shoe store. Whether you’re looking for a running race, local group run, swim team info or just want to know what’s happening in the endurance community, Perfectly Fit has what you need.
